| Fractals |
Fractals are images derived from a mathematical formula using primarily Mandelbrot and Julia sets. Before 1980, few computers could process these repetitive calculations in a reasonable amount of time. When faster processors and larger memory became available it was then possible to assign color values or a gradient to the two variables, z and c in the formula. A visual representation of the calculations can then be displayed on a monitor.
Zooming in on fractals reveals an infinite, constantly changing universe.
Below are a few of my results working with a program called Ultra Fractal ™.
